Le jeune duo d’illustrateurs Icinori continue à appliquer sa stratégie de conquête du monde par la couleur.
Après le Jabberwocky de Raphael Urwiller paru chez Sarbacane et la Promenade au Musée de Mayumi Otero à la RMN, voici une exposition au cœur de Paris où l’on retrouvera leur dessins, sérigraphies, gravures et les déjà fameux pop-ups construits à la main.

After Raphael Urwiller’s Jabberwocky and Mayumi Otero’s Promenade au musée, both published by the spring of 2012, we now can enjoy their drawings, silkscreen works, engravings and hand-made pop-up books in a single place in the heart of Paris.

À peine issue de la prestigieuse section Illustration de l’École des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg, Raphael Urwiller a déjà accroché les yeux délicats à plus d’un titre.
Et ce livre réalisé (entièrement à la main) à partir du plus surréaliste des écrits de Lewis Carroll, illustre avec maestria l’ambition formelle d’Icinori, un duo qu’on ne saurait manquer de croiser à nouveau.

Not yet graduated from the Illustration department of Strasbourg’s École des Arts Décoratifs, the Icinori duo has already blown the curious people’s minds on numerous occasions.
And this (hand-made) book dedicated to one of the most famous poems by Lewis Carroll is the perfect demonstration of Icinori’s visual ambition.
