Géant de l’illustration des années psychédéliques (aux côtés de Milton Glaser, Tadanori Yokoo, ou la jeune Nicole Claveloux), l’Allemand Heinz Edelman a illustré et mis en page cet album pour Harlin Quist & François Ruy-Vidal deux ans après avoir été directeur artistique du Yellow Submarine.
Le livre a reçu une mention à la première Grafico Fiera di Bologna per l'Infanzia en 1971.

One of the kings of psychedelic illustration (think Milton Glaser, Tadanori Yokoo, or the early Nicole Claveloux), German designer Heinz Edelman provided the layout and illustrations for this book published by Harlin Quist & François Ruy-Vidal only two years after beeing art director for the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine.
The book was awarded at the first Grafico Fiera di Bologna per l'Infanzia in 1971.
